Think digital! This is the motto of the Junior Science Café, a platform organised by students, where experts exchange views on topics from science and research with a focus on digitization. As part of the “Junior Science Caféof FOSBOS Ingolstadt, one of our employees was invited as an expert in the field of Augmented & Virtual Reality.
Under the motto “Life 4.0 – Smart Society”, students of the 13th grade with the seminar subject “Junior Science Cafe” of FOSBOS Ingolstadt were able to win a top-class group of experts for the format: With Prof. Dr. Andreas Riener, Head of UX Design at TH Ingolstadt (research focus: Human-Machine-Interaction), Prof. Dr. Wolf-Dieter Tiedemann (also THI; subject: Computer Engineering, Computer Networks etc.) and Dr. Tobias Holischka of KU Eichstätt (PhD: “CyberPlaces. Philosophical Approaches to the Virtual Place.”), three competent representatives from science were found.
Our employee Bastian Ribbeck, software developer and specialist in the field of Augmented & Virtual Reality, completed the expert panel as representative of the economy. The experts highlighted various aspects of the main topic “Smart Society” and included the interfaces to the trend topics Smart Home, Artificial Intelligence and Mobility of the future.
“The panel discussion was on a very good level due to the top-class panel of experts. I am very pleased that Bastian, an employee of BFFT aeromotive, was selected as an expert for this format”, said a visibly enthusiastic CEO Ralf Rudolf. He added: “To provide an expert in this round is a great result of our work at BFFT aeromotive”. The know-how of the experts in their special fields paired with the discussion and interaction with the auditorium contributed to a successful afternoon for all participants. We would like to thank the students and the seminar supervisors for the invitation to the “Junior Science Café” and for the great organization.
