End of active service? What next, once you leave the army? – Reintegration of temporary soldiers
Every year, up to 15,000 temporary soldiers leave the German army at the end of their period of service. The transition to civilian employment is not always easy and often involves considerable difficulties. Thanks to the wide range of services we offer, we create many employment options for professional and temporary soldiers.
EDAG aeromotive CEO, Ralf Rudolf, is also familiar with the problems associated with entering the civilian professional life:
“Due to my 15 years of active service as a soldier in the army, I am very familiar with the problems involved in re-entering civilian professional life. Many employers are often skeptical about the training and skills acquired during and after military service. The combination of my personal experience during and after my active service and the professional opportunities offered by EDAG aeromotive GmbH makes it much easier for us as an employer to employ former soldiers with their professional qualifications in our demanding projects.”
Our projects in the field of Aerospace & Defense Technology are aimed at officers and non-commissioned officers (all ranks) with a university degree, apprenticeship or advanced training in addition to their military training. Project- and result-oriented work in sensitive areas is one particular parallel between the activities of EDAG aeromotive and the army.
