Automated software testing makes a significant contribution to increasing efficiency in the company, as capacities are freed up and the pace of development is increased. For test automation to be successful, however, the test criteria must be set precisely.
For our customer from the aerospace & defense technology sector, a team of experts from EDAG aeromotive took over the refactoring of a tool for the automated testing of model-based systems. In cooperation with the customer, we succeeded in improving the structure of the existing application and optimizing its performance. In the course of the further development of this innovative tool, we are helping our customer to control digitized workflows by networking standard software.
Our area of responsibility includes the creation and maintenance of complete test procedures (including test documentation), but also the performance of manual, semi-automated and fully automated test procedures by our experts. Our expertise in the field of test automation is also integrated into the maintenance and modernization of scripted and GUI-based test procedures. By means of efficient regression testing and extensive bug tracing and reporting, we support our customer in assuring the quality of the software tool. Precise test documentation enables the customer to be kept informed of the current progress of the project at all times.
