EISMO: DEVELOPMENT OF WEB APPLICATION TO ANALYZE SERVICE INTERVALS

The automotive and aerospace industries are prime examples of the benefits of targeted technology transfer. EDAG aeromotive has been pursuing the applicability of automotive developments in the aerospace industry since 2011.

Within the framework of this project, we developed the web application EISMO (Eurofighter In Service Maintenance Optimisation) in cooperation with our customer Airbus Defence & Space. The aim of the development was to analyze and in particular optimize the service intervals for the Eurofighter programme.

The newly developed application emigrates an existing data module base to implement a multinational evaluation of task prioritization. Complex workflows can be created for our customers just as easily as data and process structures.

The results ultimately provide information on whether service intervals can be shortened, or aircraft maintenance measures completely canceled or replaced by more efficient measures. All in all, four nations are working on the data files.
