EDAG aeromotive GmbH donates € 800 to ELISA Familiennachsorge e.V.
EDAG aeromotive GmbH has donated € 800 to ELISA Familiennachsorge e.V. to support the association in its work with sick children. The company – like its parent company, the EDAG Group – decided that, instead of giving Christmas gifts to its customers last year, it would again support the work of social assistance associations throughout Germany.
”The corona crisis has shown us just how important social commitment is. This far exceeds the valuable work being done by the professional groups on whom attention is currently being focussed on account of the corona pandemic. For this reason, EDAG aeromotive GmbH was delighted to offer ELISA Familiennachsorge e.V. its support in the form of a donation again this year. In these extremely difficult times, the association performs an important and admirable service for children and young people in our region who are suffering from serious or chronic illnesses and cancer,” stressed Ralf Rudolf, Managing Director of EDAG aeromotive GmbH. Acording to ELISA Familiennachsorge e.V., donations help to finance numerous services, including home visits that are no longer covered by the statutory health insurance, as-sistance for siblings, and grief counselling for the entire family.
The symbolic cheque was presented to Managing Director Nadine Dier, acting on behalf of ELISA Familiennachsorge e.V., by Managing Director Ralf Rudolf in Gaimersheim. We would also like to thank our customers and partners for understanding our decision to forego Christmas gifts in favour of this charity campaign.
